Fished out of mentor 6-8pm. 68 fow heading west with the waves into 66 fow. Managed 6 for 8, between 18-25” All on shallow bandits in green. Dipseys 3/160 and 180 took the most, tadpole at 75 with...

Planning to head out this evening out of mentor. Hearing mixed reports from 64-68fow… any recommendations on starting/ running?

So far I have liked the tadpoles, but I’m thinking about using the tru trips on my inside rods…. That should fix the speed problem and make it more uniform with less change in the depth, no?

Ran out of mentor lagoons at 6am headed out due north to 68 fow and trolled ne with the waves. Marked plenty of fish, all 40-45 ft down, until we got to 72 ft. Managed a few bites but it was slow....

Night crawlers, gulp night crawlers, power bait night crawlers.... Any preferance? I use the gulp for casting and for bottom bouncers...

Does anyone change out the standard spoon treble hooks for a single hook that lets the worm rotate? Do you even use worms?!! Hahah just some ideas I've been thinking about trying.
