I understand that, I have a 17 deep V and I like to stay within 12 MPH wind But it is always better out of any direction other than out of the east.

We went to Turtle point for three days, we got there Wednesday evening and it was choppy so we went out Thursday morning and only got two jigging, went back our around four and got six in the boat...

I only go up three or four times a year and last year I went in the area and a boat came out with a large orange flag on it and ask me to move. They do broadcast it on the radio so you will know....

I bought the black ones, Sam's, but I also got some of the cheaper red ones (Before I read this lol) They might work for me since I only go out three or four times a year. Time will tell.

I guess it is too early to jig but I think the majority of people on this forum are charter captains and probably pull cranks instead of jigging

Congratulations on the antelope, I got one with a bow a few years ago in Casper WY. I was on a watering hole and saw badger, mule deer and all kinds of Golden Eagles. Good luck with the walleyes
