Did well considering the boat traffic.3 people.2 big females way up close in 9 ft.all rest small males.fishing slowed after 9am.had a blast.all purple tipped w minnow

Hey matt.i like thr guys in thr boats that squeeze in the line of wader fisherman and fish th e same drift.you would think the boats would want to get in the drifts whrre the bank fisherman cant...

3 foot.leader.was ticket last two days.shorter leader seemed to snag more fish.

2 man limit in 2 hours.just as many snagged throwbacks.everywhere is producing.

Fished 8 hrs today.heard of a few being caught.but wr casted 4000 times and all we caught were snags...no big run of walleye yet.

Drove some things up to the camper today in oak harbor/wild wings..thought on way home we would take a look at maumee.we always fish for a few weeks before boat gos in.riv r r is thawed and flowing...

Keep the jigs handy all the way through may.alot of people start casting in may.those fish are still pounding jigs.esp.on sunny or heavy boat traffic days.laying right on bottom.

Right off edges of reefs.also killed them just east of mouse island off edge of shoal.
