Fish are starting to hit
Alge bloom still around cranberry creek, picking up some perch and walleye. Catching smallmouth on hot n tots.Hopefully water will clear up by today.

Started out in 16 fow in front of marina trolling reef runners 60' back, red and gold, picked up two 17", things went dead, moved to 22 fow, reef runners 80' back picked up 4, had my limit in 2 hrs....

Landed three walleyes this am. lost two at boat all were around 19". Caught on reef runners red over gold in 22 fow. off the lake by 8, just to hot, no breeze. Lake has been flat for last three days.

Are you talking about lead core line or actual wire ? I sometimes use the lead core with six foot of floro carbon attached with a polamar knot.
