I have been doing a little research about the algae bloom, each year it seems to get worse.
According to reports it ain't gonna be good next year.

Just looked at noaa weather report waves building to 13 -14 ft.

I don't know about you guys and all your different colors and bling and beads, but went out thurs. to Kelly shoal and caught 8 nice eyes (17" to 22")on the old standby 5/8 ounce green and white erie...

Went out Sunday north of green, had to use frozen minnows from Herbs (Catawba Island). Three guys = 90 fish. Done at 3:30.

Got some nice size ones but most around 8-9".

Hopefully coming up this week, will be watching the weather.

You are right, with the price of gas, dockage,insurance etc. walleye are costing about $1,000.00/lb.

Was there for the last 3 days couldn't go out,sat at dock and had beers.
60 mph plus winds overnight, thought the boat was going to be torn apart.
