Winter Project and fishing 1,200 miles south of Kelly's Island

What does one do while waiting for Lake Erie Spring fishing? Head to Florida bungalow and work on a project. Installed a Minn Kota trolling motor on my kayak. Less paddling, more fishing.

Decided to try out the motor and after a short trip out into Pine Island Sound saw a large school of Crevalle Jacks a few hundred yards away. Never would have reached them in time without the motor.

Nice setup! I was a little worried about my last post about fishing in St. Croix in the "Western Basin" Community... Being a member since 2010 I was hoping you would be okay with it not being on "Lake Erie"... So I'm happy to see your post and that you are having a great time in warm weather as well.
