Docks At SSP

Have been going out of SSP for both perch and Walleye, Have done great with the perch and so/so with the walleye. Seems I'm always a day behind in the program, been running DDHJ 12's 60 to 30 back and speed has been 1.4 to 1.6 and have picked a few up out in front of stoney point to the cooling towers at Fermi in 24 feet of water. Will get three a day of walleye sometimes but have a lot of pull backs that get off immediately and the hooks are brand new! have been going to the 1 and 2 buoy at the raisin river for perch, you don't catch limits but you do catch a lot of big ones!! Sputnik produces a lot of fish but they are usually smaller.

The docks are not going to be taken out of SSP according to baitshops the guy in charge is knowledgeable about what the fisherman want so until the first hard freeze that is supposed to stay frozen in the bay so it looks like the docks will be there awhile based on the weather forecast into Jan, it's supposed to be in the 40's Ya man fish on!!!!!!!! I'm going the day after Christmas and prob a day or 2 before Christmas!
