9/5 and 9/7 reports

9/5 headed out of the Rocky and went to 38' before the gold coast. It was a slow bite. Moved a little east and deeper 42'. The bite was better but still slow. What was crazy is that we caught 15 small walleye that were 4-6 inches. 23 keeper perch 9.5-11.5". 9/7 we decided to check out the Lorain area. Launched out of spitzer lakeside and headed north. We were going to troll for a few hours before it got too hot. 1 walleye, 4 catfish and a sheaphead. Lost something big, broke the stinger I added to a harness. That was 35-45' from 9:30-11:45. We used dipseys on a three setting 50-65 back and 30 jets 75-90 back.

Thanks for the report Cleveland Eyes! It's getting tough to get a good report. I'm not much better. Trolled out of Lorain 2 weeks ago for 4-5 hours. Got a couple small eye's (real small). I hope to wet a line this weekend. Don't like E winds but the lake should be fishable. Sunday wind direction is better out of the SW, but picking up. What to do???
