lorain sand bar

Hi guys ,
I am new to the forum,and fairly new to the Ohio waters in the western basin.I hear a lot of good things about the lorain sand bar area, and was wondering if anyone could share some information with me? Is this primarily a post spawn area or does this area hold fish for an extended period? If anyone could give me any info and maybe some waypoints to get me in the area that would be great! If anyone would like any info on the Detroit River this is my primary spring fishery and has been for as long as I can remember!
