jumbo perch 10-12

Left turtle creek around 2. let my 9 year old drive us out 2 miles north of west sister. Took a while to get there haha. Anyways we caught a few babies. Then around 5pm they turned on. Spreaders with all different color spinners. Didn't matter (although my sons orange tore it up) He would catch a double. Id hand him my pole and take the fish off his, bait his hook and he'd hand my pole back with fish on it. Ended up with 67 between the 3 of us which isn't bad considering we fished for about 2 hours. 24 jumbos and I mean JUMBOS! pretty heavy bite. The way my son was bringing them in you would think he was jigging for walleye!. Good day. His first on the lake. So happy I could make it a memorable one. Thanks everybody for all the advice and fishing reports. Fish finder just stopped working, something wiring, so don't know depth. I'm guessing around 25-28. Not a lot of algae. Thanks again everybody.
