Worm harness
Is there any particular bead colors and combination of that work best for crawler harness fishing on Lake Erie? We make our own and would appreciate any info that would liked to be shared with fellow fisherman.

gold blade gold beads always seems to work

I do best with purples, pinks, and whites in many combinations. Gold is usually good and so are greens.

I typically use a Pink/Pearl, Purple/hot pink and Orange/Chart with trolling harness rigs, #5 Colorado blades and 6mm beads. When casting we seem to do better with #4 Gold or Chart Colorado blades and Orange or red 6mm beads. But everything is subject to change when on the water....

Great info! We decided to use a spinner clevis that allows for blades to be changed at will; so that should be a plus on figure out what color of blade they seem to like. Thank you all for sharing. Always appreciated!

Another thing you may want to consider is hook size. I switched over to 2/0 octopus hooks and it has made a big difference in losing fish. Those big hooks seem to hold in the mouth better than the #2's I used to use, especially on the days when the only thing you catch is big fish.
