I was wondering if anyone out there has a similar boat that may give me an idea on what size prop would work well.

Had some expirence, I went from a 17 x 14.5 to a 19 x 14.5. It dropped my RPMs for those long runs. I got it at Dubberts in Port Clinton. Thinking about $120 or less
i think you would be very happy with a 14 to 14.5 x 18 pitch 4 blade prop. you,ll never go back to a 3 blade prop. you can get them on ebay for alittle over 150.00 for an aluminum. or call ron hill at 1-800-762-0309 about a signature 5 blade ss prop. he can tell you which 5 blade prop to get for your boat. he sells them on ebay for 371.00 or best offer. so he would probably give you a better price if you call him.

Thanks for your replies right now Im running a 17x19 it is a prop that was on the original motor witch was a 305 top rpm was around 4000 rpm. During the winter I changed out drives from 1.68 to 1.50 ratio my top rpm dropped to 3700.
im not sure just what rpm you should run at wot. but after changing to a v-8 outdrive you may want to go all the way down to a 14.5 x 15 p prop. your rpm,s are way to low. im surprised you can even get up on plane. good luck.

Just getting back to give info on what I came up with. I bought a 151/4 x 15 pitch prop. It seems to be about what I need it tops me out at 4400 rpm at 33 mph. Trolling speed is at 2.6 the take off response was a major improvement. Would like to thank you all for the input info to help me get to this point.
