Fished Thursday 6/26 East of Kelly's

We started 7:30 Am drifting east of Kelly's using erie dearies and worm harnesses. We marked a lot of fish, but only took sheephead. Around noon I finally made my first attempt at trolling. The slowest my boat would idle was 4.5 mph. I broke down and bought 2 trolling bags 48", ran em on each side of the boat and it slowed me down to 1.5. We ran 4 dipsies and picked up a nice 3 lb walleye after 20 minutes of trolling around the pack of boats that were NE of Kellys. 2.0-2.2 mph #3 setting 60 back on stinger spoon. Not long after we took 8 lb fish on bleeding shad rattle trap, about the same settings. Thanks to everyone who posts and helped me with my set up. I really would rather not troll, but it sure seems like the way to go when things get tough.
