this is what i heard about an half hour ago from a friend with some inside info that they are planing to cut the walleye limit to 4 and the pech limit to 20 ,, some time soon they are going to change it,,i hope not ,, on google i read where they said walleye pop is in peril for lake erie
I know I don't post here very often if at all, I only fish the Western Basin but thought I would pass this along in case you have not already read it.

That article was clear as mud!!! By the title it looked like it was pertaining to the limit being changed but the first paragraph said looks like they will remain the same. I don't know but I hope whoever figures out these limits are right about the numbers because in either case the tourist areas are going to suffer due to the fact that many people will not travel or burn or that boat fuel for 4 fish a piece but if they are wrong then they hurt the population by keeping it the same. I myself see it being kept at 4 til May then 6. JMO Will!
It is the same as last year. 30 perch 6 walleye. I hope to have good fishing this year & the same for you.
