Comin up from SC to Catawba, about all I remember is worm harnesses and erie deries- drifting. Are there knowledgeable shops on Catawba? I usually go to Gull island or maybe West reef/ Niagra. Are they pretty reliable reefs on average?

If you're staying in catawba, I would head to either north of kelleys island, or by rattlesnake island. Niagara reef should also be decent too. Worm harnesses and bottom bouncers or casting erie dearies is all you need! Good Luck
Also try Hi-Way Bait and tackle, they are pretty knowledgable about where to go and what to use.
Bait shop in Port Clinton by the Jet Express is very knowledgeable and he has everything under the sun to catch walleyes. In general, bottom bouncers with crawler harnesses and Erie Dearies or any reasonable facsimile will get you fish in the boat.:D
