Sterling State Park

Fished Sunday out of Sterling State Park, 2-man limit but had to work for them. Fished from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm., straight out from Stoney Point to Fermi... All nice fish in 24-25 ft. of water, pulling meat on harnesses with 3 oz bottom bouncers off boards. Hot colors were purple, orange, and blue harnesses...trolling 1.5 - 2 mph. All in all, a good day on the lake, hotter than heck, but had a blast anyways! Other boat in our party fished slightly deeper 26-27 ft, got 13 fish for 3 guys! Couldn't get them to hit the cranks, so stuck with meat and harnesses. The fish are still in Michigan, not sure how much longer if this heat keeps up. Water temp. was 79 when we started and was 84 when we ended the day.
