Toledo intake perch
Fished about a mile west of the Toledo intake today. 20ft of water. Windy I had to put out 2 anchors to hold. Fished on the bottom with crappie set up and minnows. 4 of us fishing (6 on the boat). Dead minnows worked best and large dead minnows cut in half worked best of all. Most fish in the 8 to 11 inch range with very little sorting and only a few sheepshead. Some small but healthy white bass and a couple really big white perch. For about 5 hours fishing we dropped off 28lbs of yellow perch at the cleaners. Elrod.

Kelly Perch
Had a great day Friday, caught two man limit of perch. Found drop shot without the bling worked great. You could feel the light bite. Crazy thing we notice, we were running low on minnies and started to cut them in half, we probably caught more that way. Also, reduced the sheephead. Tried for walleye north of kelly's, lost one and that was it. Marked a ton of bait fish. The perch seems to be hot right now. Heading up Tuesday to give it another shot. Good luck all!
