fishing report 6-12

Finally went out today for the first time this year unreal. Anyways took a charter out of meinkes. Left the dock at 6am me and three other guys. Started casting hammered gold "weapons" with a 5/8 egg sinker I myself caught four in two hours. The captain caught five and the first mate three all using gold blades. We were fishing 3 miles north of the turn around bouy right around the 51 line. As the wind slowed down we started to troll spoons with jet divers. Finished the day at 11am with a four man ticket. Very productive day considering all the bad reports of late. The larger fish were caught casting while the "good eaters" trolling. Also my pops went out on a charter as well they drift fished for four hours and only caught six. Than they switched over to spoons and finished the day with a 5 man limit but took them five more hours than we did. All in the same area. Goodluck to all and hope to hear some more good reports:D
