It will likely be at least that long. They are calling for sustained 22 mile per hour winds on Wed. Tues is suposed to be fairly nice, though it will likely still be very muddy. Has anyone heard if there is clearer water to the west on the other side of the ditch?
Was on the Bay yesterday and managed a couple fish, lost some others. Winds made it tough. The Bay is very muddy, but usually is, but is much muddier than normal.
Saw no clean water. 2 inch visibility at best. Know what you are thinking west of the ditch, but it looked just as muddy all the way to Point Place and North. River still pumping plenty of trash into the Bay.:(
Fish beginning to bite even so.:)
Clean water here is a ways off for sure. It just won't stabilize. The good news/bad news was that the winds were SW the last couple days. But today it is screaming N/NE 20-30. We are getting some snow too. 34 degrees.
I live real close to the Bay. The Bay yesterday was 49 to 51 degrees.

will SW winds and clear skies be enough to clear up the water by Thursday?
I came ever so close to dragging my boat up the islands this weekend. Called it off Friday night after a talk with the locals. It worked out better anyway because I picked up some new gear. :)
Only a few more days.....
Probably not, but fish anyway. She is very, very, very dirty right now. You'll still catch fish. The cloudy water will give you more stealth!
The reef area traditionally clears first.

Has anyone tried to fish the Maumee Bay? If so, How dirty is the water out there? How far is the water stired up till? Is it muddy out by the N.E. side of Kelleys? Plan on weekend trip and trying to set up game plan.
