I did it again, every year I forget the channel for fishing on the radio. Anyone?
I believe 72 is a good channel
I don't know, but around here, which is the waters around Cleveland, most everybody uses 68...unless they have some particularly sensitive information to exchange. Then they switch to code words, change channels, or call on their cell phones.
By the way, I don't know why, but it seems that the anglers in the Cleveland area are more willing to share information than those who fish around the islands. Is it because of more fishing pressure or what?
Its been my experience that the anglers in the Cleveland area have always been very willing to share info. You won't hear to much chatter about walleye on the radio, but I have never had a hard time getting a perch report. Even the head boats (i.e. Holiday, Linda Mae) will always share info. And we try to help them out as well. After all, there is more than enough fish to go around.
Around here in the Huron, Vermilion area.. i keep track of 79
