perch fishing sat. aug.15

rented walk on boat out of drawbridge marina for bachlor party, fished with
captain chuck, excellent captain, fished 1/2. mile northwest of green island,
29 to 30 ft. of water, 12 man limit of 300 perch from 8.00 am to 12.10 pm.
fished ranged from 7.5 inches to 13 inches , lots of 9 to 11 inch fish, about
a 100 throw backs also. total catch 63lbs, stared out 1.5 waves lay down
to nothing. crappie rigs, large spreaders, single hook rigs, all work well, live or
dead minnows all worked, lots of small minnow schools, lots of alge too. fish
right on the bottom.
