Been fishing out of Lorain last 3 days (am), Most boats been hugging the fog horn area and havent been doing to well, I've been going out to 40' of water stright out of Lorain and have limited Mon & Tue, 7:30am - 11am. chased off today but still got 23 by 10am. (one person) All nice fish in 10-13 inch range, Also caught one nice walleye Tue while perch fishing, about 6#, So if your going out of Lorain dont fish the pack at the horn get to 40' and fish there, Go Luck to All.
We went out Thursday after it cleared up. It was quite breezy, so we tucked in by the outer wall (fog horn wall) and hammered the perch. Lots of 10"+ fish. Guess ya never know, eh?
Maybe the moral is if you're not catching them....move!

went out sat. morn in water fishing at 6:30am tryed for small mouth first, cought nothing till around 9:30 when the wind picked up alittle lake was too flat, but did pick up two about a 3# and one at 7# (did release both) then went out to pack to try for perch, very slow also, was nice to be out but lake and weather was not right. way to flat.......
