9/24 Perch Report

Two of us got 35 perch and one 24” catfish at the Catawba Island Buoy today. We got started at around 10 AM and only had 3 perch in the first hour. I decided to try to find them elsewhere….that was a mistake. We tried around Mouse, South Bass, and Green without a perch to show for it. We decided to come back to the Catawba Buoy and got 32 perch in about 2.5 hours. In hindsight if we wouldn’t have wasted 2+ hours searching for them, we probably could’ve limited out if we had remained patient. Still had a great day and the size of the perch are definitely getting better and better. I also heard of good reports at Marblehead Lighthouse and around D can. Hope this helps and good luck!

Nice catch, We brought back 0 we caught about 10 but all dinks, we fished the can area. I hope I can get out one more time but it is a three hour drive and with gas so high it is tough
