Just checking to see if there has been any perch action west of the bass islands
Thanks
Was south and west of catawba green buoy in 20 fow Manage to catch 75 perch. 3 person fishing. Average size was 9 to 10 inch perch. Using crappie rigs. It was not a fast bite but a steady bite.
Nice day on the lake.
thank you for your report.
Did you anchor or drift for them?
Rickerd
We were anchored
Two person limit of nice perch 2 miles east of intake 22 ft. Spreaders no bling. Very steady bite from 9 to 1. 20 pounds at cleaners.
Emerald shiners from Bite Me at Wild Wings.
Today my limit of perch, 9s and 10s . All yellow, no junk fish. It gets no better. Threw maybe a handful back. North of intake 25ft of water. Large shiners from butch and Dennys, cut in 3s. 2 walleyes, after perch were caught, casting
gold night crawler harness.. Large schools of perch on bottom and walleye are 4 to 5 ft off bottom. Marked all day.
Awesome. Nothing better. Hope to get out this weekend and give it a whirl
great reports and thank you,
Hope to get out this weekend for them.

Is there any firing going on around camp perry?
Had a slow day today caught 13 perch four fishing in between Green Island and Rattle Snake in 30 fow. Had emerald shiners . Seen alot on the graph but no takers. 5.5 lbs at the cleaners.
Fished same area yesterday and only got 5 perch for 2 people. Fished 9-12p. We were south of Green on Wednesday and managed 14 all in 10 inch range. Bite was very light and we could not get a hook set with the pinheads. At least they were biting then; yesterday perch had lockjaw.
Anyone having any luck near the intake?
I just came across an old news article from the Sandusky Register with the following information regarding the firing zone off Camp Perry. Hope it helps.
During firing activity, the Camp Perry strobe light will be activated and red range flags will be displayed. During the boating season, the danger zones are normally marked with orange and white buoys reading “Range Danger Zone.”
They also announce regarly.on channel 16 that they are firing and in which zone.
