What do you like to eat?
Fried walleye or perch...jolly Rogers.Crow's nest has great walleye and other food. Both these restraunts will cook your caught walleye too.The former Mon Ami is now Gideon Owen wine co.They have a great enclosed bar/patio with good food too.
The bourbon sriracha pizza from crosswinds is pretty delicious! Definitely getting it and jolly Rogers this weekend
Crabby Joes, McCarthy's and Docks Beech House are all good.
The seafood buffet at Mon Ami was always outstanding. Not sure if the new owners still have it.
If you have a day that you want to stay in the room, Sloopy's pizza delivers and has great food.
Oh yeah,Big Boppers on Marblehead can't be beat for breakfast.
Cleats restaurant and bar at Marina Del Isle i/ Skipper Buds boat sales located east toward Marblehead is pretty good too.
Twin Oast Brewing on Catawba Island, on Rt. 53 just south of the North end, west side of the road. Big place with a lot of land and contemporary setting. They are becoming a 'locally grown' operation with fruit trees, etc. Check them out sometime this season.
Brewery | Twin Oast Brewing | United States
I'll second McCarthy's, they have great food. Diana's on 163 is really good for breakfast as well. Tried the new Gideon Owen in the fall for outdoor. Place is really nice and I think the food is a little better than Mon Ami, but it's expensive for what you get. Great atmosphere though.
We like Rosie's in downtown Port Clinton, just down from McCathy's.
The Orchard- fine dining that is super delicious, but pricey...don't have to dress up though
1812-fine dining...pricey too...don't have to dress up
Ciao Bella-Casual fine dining...good food...less pricey....
Waldo Peppers- best fried pickles on the planet....good food and decent prices
Casa Las Palmas-Mexican food with great service/prices
Crosswinds-casual dining...good food/decent prices
McCarthy's- specialty bar food...
Rosie's- casual dining...good food...
Fish Fry: Jolly Roger's
Pizza Places:
Bel Mel's
Pizza Brothers
Sloopy's
Breakfast places in this order:
Ala-Carte
Big Bopper's
Diana's
The wife and I go to Port Clinton 4 or 5 times a year and we really enjoy Jolly Rogers for lunch and Bell's for a pizza but we will be trying a few of these other places this year
FYI....Jolly Rogers is moving a few hundred yards west to the old Burger King restraunt within the next month.Bigger building, parking lot and a view of the lake was what an employee told me last weekend.
