Fishing report 5-31

Left brenners marina at 7am made the long run to the turn around buoy. Was a great walleye chop for a few hours out of the north. Had 8 bottom bouncers out and I was casting. Ended the day with 10 eyes. Seemed like we were the only ones fishing this area. Not sure if everyone is fishing east of Bessie but it sure seems that way. Can’t believe the western basin isn’t holding walleye with it being only June 1st. If any casters fish this end please start posting. Thanks and goodluck.

Saturday morning, I noticed everyone was fishing between Kellys, SBI, Middle Isle and back to Kellys. I was along SE side of SBI and struck out casting. WE then trolled a limit in 1.25 hours going East mostly. We didn't want to join that pack. The water looked like pea soup until got to Starve Island reef and East. dirty water even made its way to East corner of SBI.
