5/24 morning trip with a really cool family

We arrived at the catawba launch at 5:30 to prep for a 6 am launch hoping the bugs where gone and they mostly where, thank goodness, nothing like yesterday. Sky was clear and it was going to be sunny so we switched out to chromes with orange belly in blue green and purple backs. Our cool family arrived on time and we headed out to that same 25' water and had fish on in with second board in the water. It was steady fish on for a few hours until we had a 4 man limit and a limit for the captain. 50 to 65 back 1.8 still getting it done just a switch to chromes with the sun. We are running them all with no weights and behind off shore boards 6 on each side. We also ran shallow diving bandits behind #0 dipsy diver one on each side. They all caught fish. We tried a worm harness with no luck they just seem to be on the bandits. we where back to the dock by 10:30 filleted the fish up and prepped the boat for our afternoon trip.Attachment 6198 Attachment 6199 Attachment 6200
