5/23 Buggy morning trip

We arrived at the catawba launch to prep the boat and found the giant midge hatch that i'm sure all of you did too, impossible to avoid. We launched at 7AM and headed out for a short boat ride to 25' of water. Two passes with white bodied bandits with the overcast sky 50 to 65 back at 1.8 still holding strong. We reeled in a 4 man limit and a few for the captain reeling up. back to the launch by 11 AM and away from those bugs. spent a few hours cleaning them out of the boat after that prepping for tomorrow mornings trip.Attachment 6197
