Sat July 27th NE of Kellys

Had some good marks by the red can (I think that is Carpenters Point) on the Northeast corner of Kellys late morning and early afternoon on Sat and had a nice drift going casting an assortment of weight forward lures. Apparently other fisherman felt they were seeing good marks there too as there were probably 75 other boats in that area including what looked to be some charters. Some trollers in the mix, but most were casting. Boats were motoring back upwind to start drifts over and over. I did not see any nets fly. WE got skunked. Could not get a walleye to bite. IT got so rough my 14 year old got sick (never seen him get sick) and consequently we pounded our little 17 ft Whaler back to West harbor.
