Walleye May 5th 2019

Fished just nw of the Portage River in Port Clinton this morning 18 fow to start the day. Very nice day on the lake.
Looks like all the head boats were out in force and many other boaters too!
As the day went on, the pack moved steady to the west and finished south of H can in 18 to 13 fow.
I finished the day with 4 milking walleye, lost 2 at the boat and hooked up with 6 others.(the stinger did not hold is my guess)
I used my perch spreader (no bling) , this caught me 1 of the walleye, 2 yellow perch and a hog catfish.
All other walleye were caught on a bright green jig tipped with a golden shiner.
