Vermilion 08/17 and 08/19

Went out Friday morning west of Vermilion river to Sherrod Park, trolled west towards Huron in 20 FOW got skunked. On way in a guy in another boat says they are out deep in 48-50 got 4 man limit quickly. Went back out that evening and tried in close again trolling stingers behind 40 TT's, got four during a really heavy rainstorm and then headed for port. Went out Sunday morning and tried shallow again with no fish....headed out to 47 fow east of Vermilion River and got a quick 6 trolling 50 TT's, 81 feet back with stingers and worm harness (each one caught 3). Deep seems to be the best bet right now, the shallow is too intermittent, although all of the charters were in close, some in 10 feet of water West of the river. Keep your tips up!
