Vermilion 08/11 and 08/12 Walleye

Fished both Saturday and Sunday with limits both days. On Saturday I didn't get out until 1000 and it took three hours to get all 6. On Sunday got out at 0800 and got my 6 in an hour and a half and released about 7 more. I trolled in 17-21 FOW from just east of Sherrod park to just west of the Cask Villa condo's . Speed was 2.4-2.6 and I was using Tru-Tips 50's, 31 ft. back with any color stinger spoons (small ones) . One lesson learned, I was using one light action and one medium action trolling rod which resulted in about a 1 foot difference in depth on the light action. I lost two spoons before I was smart enough to reel it in to 26 feet out. Caught about 10 giant sheephead and a smattering of white bass as well. Great days to be on the lake....kip your tips up!
