6/13 Evening Report

Had to make a longer trip tonight. NW wind made it a very bouncy ride. Headed out of Mienke's at 55 degrees for 14 miles. Water is dirty for the first 8 miles. Fished with gold or copper blades. Drift was very fast. Casting and bottom bouncers. Bouncers were most effective 5 cranks up off the bottom. Casting with 3/4 weight and a very slow retrieve. Almost could just cast out, let it go to the bottom and drag it. Limit of 30 walleye in 2 1/2 hours of fishing. Largest was 21" About 2 dozen shorts.
