how do you record your trails do you set them on auto,time,or miles mines on auto, I left sp trolled to the catt on my way back the trail was gone half way to sp
it seems to record only 20 miles or so then starts to delete it self I talked to lowrance they gave me so ideas just wondering what everyone else has their set

Jeff, are you using an add on memory card? I use the largest the unit will support. I think mine is 2 gig.
I'm not using a memory card my hds gen 7 I never lost a trail ever I would go a months before I had to delate it
It can't hurt to add one and see how it reacts. This units internal memory may not be big enough. Does it accommodate an SD Micro card?

I just usually use GPS numbers. Hit the MOB button or set a new way point if we get into more than one fish quickly.
oh that good idea I did some research I got to mess with time or distance pain in the ass my gen2 never lost a trail also gonna try an sd card

Jeff, I have the Lance Valentine videos in stock on that unit. The HDS Gen 3video is $20.00, the GPS Video is $20.00, and the Sonar Interpretation video is $20.00. I would highly recommend getting all 3 of them. You will learn so much off just sitting and watching them. I used to take them out in the boat with my laptop and watch them and set up the unit as I was watching them. let me know if your interested. Also Dave has that rod for you, I gave it to him yesterday.
