Sat Perch fishin

I motored slowly along the shore by East Harbor channel, Mazuriks, Bar Harbor and Lakeside looking for some decent marks. I found some between Mazuriks and Lakeside pier in 17 FOW. I did catch one giant 12.5" perch that I thought was a smallmouth by the way she fought. But that was the last perch. I motored about a 1 mile offshore into 27 FOW due north of the Lakeside pavilion. Rather choppy and we worked that area. Kids getting itchy as no action and I caught one more perch. Two perch for the day. I had a buddy who called and said he was South of Green, north and NE of Kellys, S of Kellys and he got nothing. I was not going to waste a bunch of gas tracking down fish that likely were not doing anything in those spots either. The water was not too dirty in those spots considering the rain we had the last few days. I live to fish another day.
