Perch Sept 26th W of Kellys

Bait shop suggested S of Kellys between island and Lakeside. I started there, in a pack with some marks but no fish. I moved 1 Mile W of the marina and bars on Kellys in 26 ft water. Started slow, picked up until around noon. Then flat died. I was sitting on 19 fish, couple of 8", mainly 9' fish, but I caught 5 nice perch over 10". They wanted large shiners, no regurgitated minnows or no pieces of minnows. I could get nothing else at Kellys . I moved to S side Green but nothing. I headed back one mile NW of Miller ferry dock on Catawba and could only get one more fish to keep me at 20 for the day. Used basic spreaders. It was hot out there today!
