Fished North East 7/15 & 7/16

Fished out of Northeast, Pa Saturday & Sunday. Like everyone else is saying, caught lots of walleyes. No size. We were trolling & put 67 walleye over the rail in 2 days & only 9 fish were legal. Nothing over 17". We set them all free to be caught in the future. We did manage to catch 5 world class farm animals. I swear 2 of the sheepshead were over 15-16lbs. We never left 50-60 fow. Almost all caught on spoons. If it had purple in it they would hit it.

I just hope these fish continue to feed like this over the next couple of years. It'll continue to make for a great fishery. We caught quite a few fish that were foul hooked. We caught them in the belly, back, under the mouth. Must be a very aggressive bunch of fish down there.

I was also able to fish out of northeast this weekend. The fishing is on fire. We was also 50 to 65 FOW. We lost count on the fish we threw back. I did see a few fish close to 24" caught by others but I was told they were out in 100' + FOW. They also told me fish were far and few between out there.
