Walnut Creek fishing report

Water Conditions: 1-3ft 6/20/2017

Yesterday was our first day up on Lake Erie this season. It was a long day. Trolled for walleye from 7:30 am til 3pm. Pickup 8 legal, one over 20". Probably twice that many shorts. Best method was harnesses off the dipsys. Large 3 1/2 80 back, 1 1/2 75 back Medium 3 1/2 160. All colors. Speed 1.5. 42-45 ft Walnut to clay banks. Perched fished 3-7p,. Limited on Sheephead ;-). Almost all jumbo perch, Steady after 4pm.

Same formula as Monday. 7 keeper walleye by 12 noon, one near 30", lots of shorts a few sheephead. Did not perch fish. All on worm harnesses with copper backing (different colors).
