Just wondering if anybody is going out this weekend with the warmer temps? I'm thinking about going Sunday but not really sure where yet. Are the fish still in front of Huron or are they further east now? Anybody have any reports or a good starting point?
Happy Hooker still puts up almost daily reports. Sadly they're only in Facebook now, but they've been mentioning more activity in the reef complex lately. Good luck!
Going tomorrow to Huron (I think). I will report back whatever we find.
Thinking about heading out Sunday morning and trying around the reefs and cans. Start out jigging, but taking the huskys and bandits along.
I will be out Saturday and Sunday.
I'll be out sunday. launch at fenwicks. jigging reefs first but have trolling gear.

Went out of huron yesterday. Lot of rigs there, lot was probably 3/4 full. We caught 3 fish for the day. It was our first time trolling so we were doing a lot of learning on the fly. Fish were caught on p10's 30/30. We had some mid day motor trouble so that cut into our fishing time a little. All in all it was a good day.
Went out of Huron Sunday. (Full house). Headed west to in front of cedar point. Marked really good marks from 33-39 ft of water but not a lot of takers. Went 3 for 3. All on P10s. 20/20, 25/30, and 30/50. 9lb 28in was the biggest. Did see a guy who had a 14lber. Nice day to be on the water.
I didn't end up going up, opted to try to get more of my projects at home done before we start the season full swing. I'm sure it was a gorgeous weekend on the lake. Seems like everybody is marking a TON of fish but having trouble getting them to go.
