Let's keep are fingers crossed and hope for the best ....when it does freeze I'm usually there every weekend. For bigger fish goes the females will start to move in to the western end to get ready for spawn the later in ice season crane creek gets pretty good .it should be a great season if we get Ice
I'm definitely NOT an Ice Guy, I'm usually hoping for open trolling water into January (or all winter if possible).
But, for you "ice-holes" (I mean that in total jest!!!:p;)) Here is a nice little outlook page you might want to bookmark, I think its updated about every two weeks. From the report, it looks like a good ice season is possible if La Nina ever kicks in, but it will likely be later than earlier since the water is so warm right now.
