Lowrance question

I had issues today with my lowrance. It would turn on but then screen would not work. Could hear it marking fish but nothing to look at. It worked fine on way out I'm thinking it could be a voltage issue? Electrical connections need some attention. It's been 5 weeks since I last ran boat. Everything was good last time out. Thoughts please?

Don't have a Lowrance any more, but one time I poked a wrong button on my Garmin and put it into "night mode". The screen was so dim I couldn't see it. Had to wait until it got dark to figure out how to turn night mode off once I could read the menu's again.

I have the Elite 7 and it would freeze lock up on start screen until I did the update that can be downloaded from their website. A friend had issues of unit shutting off because of bad battery.

Try pressing the power button repeatedly . I've never lost my screen but the power button controls the brightness.

cleaned terminal connections and fixed problem. thank you for the advice
