perch fishing 7-28

went perch fishing yesterday between Fermi and the onion in 27 feet of water, uaed perch rigs with no bling. Used good sized green emeralds but the smallest green emeralds caught the biggest fish (imagine that) dropped it to the bottom and let the sinker bounce hard on the bottom quite a bit to entice the bite. Wasn't fast and furious but picked away at them. Anywhere we went we caught fish. Xaught as many farm animals as perch but the perch we caught were good. We caught 60 with only three throw backs that weighed 20lbs at the cleaners.

it's in mich waters...past stoney point out of Monroe...Fermi is the nuclear plant with 2 towers...limit is 50 each in mich.

went east of intake about 1/2 mile 19-20 fow I agree on the perch rigs with no-bling. used Goldens worked fine but caught biggest fish on perch eyes - 2-3 on hook. Walleye around too casting, always got 1 keeper. some cats. White perch were out deeper 21-22 - no sheephead
