Frank, I have a couple dozen of the 31/2" in Mi. Stinger and Silver Leafs onboard and seldom use them unless it's a tough bite. Deep inside me there's no real reason to start a big box of spoons when the scorpion size work for me. Last year I caught a white bass that
was no bigger than the spoon a 31/2" Silver Leaf.

Thanks Gene! I have both sizes,an was trying to see if it was worthwhile giving the bigger ones a shot.
When fishing Lorain/east and come August/September out in the 50-60+ fow. Yes the larger spoons will get you larger walleye and bullets. More so than in the shallower west end of the lake.
Around the islands I mainly use the smaller spoons but do put out 1 or 2 larger spoons ( if we have enough lines) when hunting for active fish.
Thanks Ebijack
I appreciate the information ,can't hardly wait to get out there an wet my poles, I'm like a kid in a candy store. Lol!
