Has anyone had any luck lately directly in front of Bessie mile or so out jigging or worm harnesses? My plan is to start there tomorrow drifting. Any replies or advices are greatly appreciated. Thanks,

What is the boat size? Power? Do you have a finder?
Where are you starting out from?
What is the predicted weather, waves, wind speed and direction?
Is a front moving in? Is the water clear? Muddy?
Sunny sky? Overcast? Clouds? Stormy?
Why are you targeting a mile North of Bessie? Do you know the depths and structures of the area?
If things don't produce there what is a second or third back up tactic?
19 foot Four Winns 140hp yes have finder with GPS, waves are predicted 2 feet or less with SW wind at 10 knots, suppose to rain on the afternoon, launching from Toussaint river. Fished there 2 weekends ago and had 2 man limit in an hour and half.
Fished Fri. & Sat. 4 man limit tolling spoons, Rattle Tots & jigging purple jigs tipped with crawler Fri. In front of Bessie 14-17 ft. Out early Sat. S.W. wind nice chop OH BOY we were really going to put a dent in the Walleye population! What a letdown, fished until 12:00 1 fish a little one. Tried every thing in the box! You talk about a deflating sport. The fish showed us. Thanks for letting me rant. Will be back up next weekend for another round. High Noon
