Rocky River May 7

Ok well May 7 I plan on going out for some Walleye fishing out of Rocky River hoping the boat docks are finally in the water. Anyone have any advice first time out this year was thinking of heading east toward Cleveland from Rocky River but not sure yet. Anyone has any information on were to go the depth the fish are or anything please help. I am taking my buddy with me who has never caught a lake erie walleye so plan is to go out all day and get him hooked on a walleye or two. Thanks everyone.
