Though it is the waning days of Summer, the fishing on Lake Erie is phenomenal. We limited out on walleye yesterday. The Lake was as calm as a farm pond. Must have been 200+ boats out of Walnut Marina. All sorts of lures and all sorts of depths worked. The fish were just hungry

I was there yesterday. We had a 2 man limit and off the lake by 9am...
Yesterday was pure awesome out of Walnut. Caught walleye on everything we threw out - flatline @220 with 5oz 220 back, #3 dipsy @ 200 and #1 dipsy @115. Spoons, bay rats and raps anything with black. The lake looked like glass - only downside was a hatch of tiny black flies that clogged the nostrils. Trying to get up again next weekend too.
