Help with Navico NAC1 Autopilot

Need some help. I had a new NAC1 professionally installed in 2000 Sportcraft 272. Consulted with West Marine and Lowrance before the purchase to ensure I bought the right product. Problem is, I can’t seem to get it to work properly. I am guessing I am not commissioning it properly and my issue is likely operator error. Is there anyone that has a similar product that would be willing to teach me how to set up and use the product? I am willing to pay a modest fee for “in boat” consulting services.

I am anchored in the Western Basin.
