We have been fishing north of kellys to north of vermillion. I don't think it matters where you go. I did a 10 mile troll and never turned and caught fish the whole time. 40 to 75 back on 40 tru trips with harnesses at 1.9mph. Good luck everyone..

I am new to the fishing lingo may I ask what kind of harnesses you using? When I was up we was using down deep husky jerks purple and only picked up 2
Worm harnesses.
purple harnesses? also does the color of your tru trip 40 matter?
No the color of true trips doesn't matter

DJ's custom eye lures. Can be bought at hi way bait also in Marblehead. They catch fish , I can say that
As half pole said they can be bought at Hi-Way, that particular one is called I believe Purple Pinky, it has been a staple since we moved to Harnesses. Kind of like IB-Frozen is a staple on cranks in the spring.Quote:
