merry xmas to all may we be blessed with plenty walleyes and hope the perch stay as big as they were last year. lots of nice perch on the western end went to vermillion twice and the perch on this end were just as big.and may i be jigging in march with my shorts on and getting limits in 80 degree early march weather the earliest i ever been in the water. and lets pray the weather is just as good.may you all have a happy new year. and a great 2013 fishing season

New Years is upon us already, snow be flying tomorrow. It feels like winter and some ice is building on the waters locally. I went over the Maumee yesterday enroute to the state up north for the day. The river was at a near normal level, no fisherman and no ice yet. I think we will be seeing some hard water fishing this year.
This past year was very good for fishing and very good year for chartering. I hope the next few years fishing to be as good as this year. Met alot of great people and talked to alot of you as well.
Looking forward to the 2013 season as its 3 months away. Just alot of snow and cold air to put up with first. I am not an ice fisherman, at least not yet. If we do have some good safe ice on Erie this year I will be calling a friend that runs ice trips off of an air boat. I may get hooked of ice fishing yet.
