Well, over The weekend I made the transition from jets to reef runners. We did very well with 120 back on a reef runners with a 2 oz weight.

Hmmmm....sounds kinda like a tight lipped teaser report. :D
Was wondering when the switch would come.
I like the reef runner bite!...Looking forward to some perch too. Nice fishing Jim...I'll be up this weekend Fri-Mon...time to get some fishing done lol.
Greg
well Jim the reel sport team is coming to your town sat, hope your ready for the fish off, you better have good line and sharp hooks, because our cooler is cleaned and ready to take some of your fish home with us, hope no major storms or water spouts like last year. Practice up you may need it,
Wayne Reel Sport Charters (Western End)
I think I'll pop some corn and watch the show. This oughta be good!
Jim,
you will be safe...especially if you get them to perch fish... Sounds like you guys will be fishing in the hurricane. Have fun with that.
oh a little note. don't let capt mike run the net. he tends to "mishandle" fish at the back of the boat.
Wish i was going along to watch the show should be entertaining at the least. Good luck guys!
No one touches Jim's super extended net but Jim. Like Frances on Stripes...."Any of you homos try and touch my net, I'll kill ya"! :D
thats good, cause last time i walleye fished with capt mike he swung and missed once with the net...it was hilarious. course it was a little west end eye, not the hogs that skipper catches.
I'm not sure how well Capt Jim's fancy extend-a-net works anymore. He let somebody handle it a month or so ago, and it doesn't function correctly anymore..
how did the fish off go today east met west who won?
Yeah...common Wayne tell us how you handed skipper's ass to him and sent him to the dock with his tail tucked.
Lol... we only fished for perch for about 30 mins after we got done walleye fishing... the size was not very good.. the bite was slow... so Wayne/mike... did you put me in my place?...
Jim you pull the rabbit out of the hat, the walleye fishing was excellent, best walleye catch I saw all summer, you are the master, as far as the perch I know this wasn't were you want to go, everything we caught was a throw back on our side of the lake, so perch off was a draw, But I would recomend anyone who wants hog walleyes to book with Jim , it was great, till next time the fish off is still on. The reel sport team Capt. Mike
and Wayne
A draw....how could it be a draw? Come on pony up with some numbers. I got the popcorn out waitin for the smack talk. Surely one of you out fished the other. I volunteer to be the ref on the next fish off. Lol!!!:D
Draw... ha... I got 13 of the 20.... oh well I am always ready...
Jim out of the thirteen only two were keepers in our book, so
